When the group is short right now

Need one or more players right now? Create a Squad Rescue and share the link.

Squad Rescue is the web side of PartyBond for an immediate gap. Someone is already in Discord, Facebook, WhatsApp, or a game lobby and realizes the squad is short. Instead of a message that gets buried, they send one link.

What usually happens

The usual path is a post, then replies, then IDs pasted one by one, then a recount of who actually showed up. It works until the channel is busy or the people who would have joined never see the message.

Squad Rescue puts the squad in one page. The creator chooses the game, platform, mode, how many extra players are needed, a nickname, and a Game ID. PartyBond creates a unique link for that squad.

What the link does

Anyone with the link opens it in a browser and sees the game, the session, and how many spots are still open. They join with a nickname and a Game ID. They do not need a full PartyBond account. That is deliberate: the person arriving from a chat message should be able to take the slot without a signup wall.

As people join, the squad can see who is in and which Game IDs to add inside the real game. When every spot is filled, the squad can close on its own. The creator can also end it early if the plan changes. A Squad Rescue is meant to live for the session, not to sit open forever.

It is not limited to one title. The creator names the game. The same link pattern works for whatever the group is about to play.

Where it sits next to the app

Squad Rescue is the fast entrance into PartyBond. A player can solve “we need one more” without installing anything. If they later want matchmaking, a profile, and a way to find people on ordinary nights, the PartyBond app is the fuller version of the same idea.

Communities can keep the places they already use. An admin or a member shares a PartyBond link when a squad needs bodies. Discord and Facebook stay the conversation. The link is the part that organizes the actual session.

Create, share, join, fill, play

  1. 1CreateSet the game, platform, mode, and how many players you still need.
  2. 2ShareSend the squad link to friends or drop it in the community.
  3. 3JoinPeople open the link, add a nickname and Game ID, and take a slot. No app install.
  4. 4FillIDs stay visible to the squad. A full squad can close by itself, or the creator can end it.
  5. 5PlayEveryone moves into the game with the IDs already collected.

Why use Squad Rescue

  • No complicated setup

The form is the whole setup: game, session, nickname, Game ID.

  • Nobody has to install first

Guests join from the browser. The app can come later.

  • One link

The same URL works in a direct message, a group, or a community post.

  • Fast to open

It is for the squad that wants to play soon, not for a calendar weeks out.

  • Any game the group names

The page follows the game you choose. It is not a single-title tool.

  • IDs where the squad can see them

Joining means the Game ID is there for the people who need to add you.

  • For a person or a community

A solo player can fill a squad. A community can share the same kind of link when members are short.

  • Built for the immediate need

If the question is “who can play this match,” Squad Rescue is the answer. The app is for the longer habit.

Before you create one

Does everyone need a PartyBond account?

No. Joining a Squad Rescue only asks for a nickname and a Game ID, plus a confirmation that the ID is correct.

What happens when the squad is full?

A full squad can close on its own. The creator can also end it when it is no longer needed.

Does this replace our Discord or Facebook group?

No. Keep posting where you already talk. Use the PartyBond link when the post is specifically “we need players for this session.”
